My Transformation Diet and Training
Posted by Mark Evans in Jan, 2014
I’ve been interested in Intermittent fasting for about 9 months now and have seen amazing results just by implementing it off-and-on over that same time period. I lost about 30 pounds on it over the summer working out only 1 time. It’s pretty rough to start out if you’re not used to going without, but I found success after about the 2nd week when the pounds started to come off with very little effort.
I’ll admit that the hardest part about this diet is being convinced that fasting doesn’t slow your metabolism, eat your muscle, or cause your body to store excess fat. It took a lot of reading before I bought into the idea.
There are some good resources I read on the topic, Fast Five and 8-hour Diet, as well as a good blog, LeanGains, that helped me get over the disbelief (and a book I haven’t read Eat Stop Eat). Below is a link to a guide to get you started, if you are interested in this type of minimal effort diet regimen. The site below also has some good advice on training techniques that will help give you maximum results in 3 1-hour workouts a week. Good stuff.
The method described below will help you get ripped, without all the training, meal management, and expensive supplements you probably think you need.
I’m not going to pretend that this is the answer to chasing your physique goals, but I honestly believe it’s the simplest method to go about it for 95% of people – busy people like you. So, are you going to keep spinning your wheels or dare to try something new?
